Welcome to Mrs. Gregory’s Web Page dedicated to help you succeed in Algebra and Geometry. You will find valuable resources here that will allow you more opportunities to improve your ability in mathematics.
Classroom Expectations
ü All rules in the Rights and Responsibilities handbook are to be followed in my classroom.
ü Do not miss class, you may miss two lessons. Attendance is an important part of being successful. If you miss, you are responsible for the make up work including the notes.
ü Get to class and settle as soon as possible. Students who are tardy interrupt class.
ü Bring all required material to class along with your textbook. Without them, completing your assignments will be challenging.
ü Devote 90 minutes of your day to learning Algebra. If you are interested, listening, and participate you will get more out of the class. Don’t hesitate to ask questions.
ü Try not to leave during class, but if you must use the restroom, please do not interrupt the note taking portion of the class.
ü You will not be permitted to sit in class and do nothing. Taking notes is required as is class work.
Materials
Please bring the following to class every day:

Grading Policies
ü Tests and Quizzes: All tests and quizzes will be announces ahead of time, and will be listed in a monthly calendar. Test will be given at the end of every chapter, approximately 3 per nine weeks.
ü Notebooks: Maintain notebooks chronologically and in an orderly fashion. All warm-ups, notes, and class work is to be kept there. Notebooks will be checked at the end of every chapter and will count as a quiz grade.
ü Class work: All class work is to be completed in class. I do not give busy work so everything is graded. Class work is to be done individually. If you are in class and fail to finish the assignment and show work, it is a zero that will not be made up.
ü Homework: You will be assigned homework every night. It will be checked the first five minutes of class and will be reviewed. Each assignment is to be labeled with the date and page number. Copy down the original problem and show all work. The will be NO CREDIT for answers only.
